Where did February go?...
Okay, so I know that February is the shortest month, but is it really March tomorrow???
This month has literally flown by in a wonderful blur of Wedding Fairs, bridal appointments, bespoke enquiries and, when there's been a spare minute I have been continuing to work on the new bridal collections, which I'm very pleased to say are now complete...you may even get a sneaky clue into one of the collections later on in this post!
Wedding Fair Season...
I have had the pleasure of meeting lots of lovely brides to be at this month's wedding fairs and there's nothing I love more than the exciting chats about all things 'wedding' and how I can help with the finishing touches of bridal jewellery and hair accessories. I always feel very honoured when people share photo's of their beautiful gowns with me so that we can discuss styles and designs and how best to accessorise.
Popular choices at recent wedding fairs continue to include hair vines - they are such a versatile hair accessory with the ability to be worn with a range of hair styles and as they are created using fine wire they are super light which means they are so comfortable to wear, which bearing in mind it will be worn all day is extremely important. It's not just been about the brides at the wedding fairs though...there has been lots of love for my Swarovski Birthstone Pendants as thank you gifts for bridesmaids. Solid silver pendants in a range of designs are finished with a Swarovski Birthstone Charm, creating a personalised keepsake of your special day. Alternatively you could choose a Swarovski in the colour scheme of your wedding, there is every possible colour you could think of in the Swarovski range, contact me to discuss possible options.
The Birthstone Collection also makes a lovely gift idea for a birthday, new mummy (using baby's birthstone), Christening gift or just to simply gift for no special reason at all, because everyone deserves a special treat once in a while!
Bespoke enquiries...
February has been such a busy month for bespoke enquiries, which I absolutely love! When I began the Eva-Mae Jewellery journey, one of the first things that I decided was that EVERY piece from the Bridal Collection would be made to order, so even if you choose a piece directly from the collection, you will still have your very own piece made just for you, this not only means that it won't have been handled and tried on by anyone, but it also allows for little tweaks to be made to the design, such as colour, size and materials used. Another option is to have a completely unique piece made, this is where the Bespoke Jewellery Design Service comes in. Starting with a blank piece of paper we work together to complete the perfect piece of jewellery or hair accessory.
A blog post dedicated to the Bespoke Design Service will be coming up soon.
Bridal Appointments...
The diary is continuing to be filled with Bridal Appointments and this month has seen lots of pieces being tried on in the studio along with coffee and cake, of course! To book your exclusive studio appointment contact marie@eva-mae.co.uk
New Collections...
This month has seen not one but two new collections completed as well as two pieces which will be part of the Limited Collection and I am super excited to share them all with you...keep a look out on my social media as a few sneaky peeks will be shown very soon. For now here is a little clue into one of the collections...
Networking...
I've had a lovely month of networking, an opportunity to catch up with wedding industry friends as well as meeting some new faces too. These networking events are also a chance to visit some beautiful venues, one of this month's was the Sun Pavilion in Harrogate. It is often easy to forget that we have such beautiful places on our doorstep and set in the pretty Valley Gardens this really is a stunning setting for a wedding or any special event. I am really looking forward to going back on the 2nd April to exhibit at their Spring Wedding Fair! Click the image below to pre-register...
I think that's all for this little insight into Eva-Mae Jewellery's month!
Coming up next month...
It's looking like March is going to be just as busy a month as February, with lots of appointments, the new collections launching AND the amazing UK Wedding Event at York Racecourse, which I will once again be exhibiting at. This is the biggest and busiest event of the year and I can't wait! The opportunity to meet lots and lots of brides to be and share the pretty world of Eva-Mae Jewellery...Come and join me and lots more wonderful exhibitors on Sunday 19th March!
